Innovation in the field of chain actuators from SIMON PROtec: our new PA-K-50 and PA-K-65 models are now available with SICO-BUS technology for opening and closing windows and flaps. The actuators of the PA series (PA = Plugged Actuator) replace the models of the EA series.

The innovative SICO standard developed by SIMON PROtec offers numerous advantages:

• Fully bus-capable actuators enable position-precise monitoring and can be easily connected to other system components such as controllers or the building management system.
• Synchronisable actuators in MASTER/SLAVE operation communicate directly with each other via SICO and adjust their running speed in real time.
• The SICO LINK software also offers an easy-to-use interface with which drives can be parameterised or data read out directly and without an additional power supply.

The PA chain actuators are also available with double connection (DA) on request. With this variant, connection is possible from both sides and the side of the connection cable can be freely selected. In addition, synchronised actuators can be conveniently connected directly to each other. For this, only one connection cable is necessary, the required others are simply looped through. Subsequent parameterisation of already mounted actuators ​is also possible via the second connection, e.g. if the other side is difficult to access.
